Bishop Eddie Long Scandal – New Birth Missionary Baptist Church

Bishop Eddie Long Scandal – New Birth Missionary Baptist Church – Bishop Eddie Long who is a well respected man of God in the Atlanta christian community has been accused of some hideous crimes.
According to reports that surfaced yesterday afternoon Bishop Eddie Long who happens to be a very outspoken anti-gay activist allegedly used his spiritual authority, money, luxurious trips to convince two young men 17 and 18 years old respectively who were members of his congregation into having sex with him.
Both individuals who are now 20 and 21 years of age filed a lawsuit against the leader of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Ga (where almost 10,000 come to worship on a weekly basis) at the DeKalb County Court on Tuesday.

The young men claimed that “defendant Long has utilized his spiritual authority to coerce certain young male members … into engaging in sexual acts and relationships for his own personal sexual gratification.”
Mr Long’s attorney, Craig Gillen has rapidly released a statement where he made it clear that the allegations against his client are unfounded and untrue.
This is not the first time that the good pastor is embroiled in an unholy affair, back in 2007 him along with several prominent religious figures were being investigated for mishandling their churches funds.
